2022 marked the 5th year of our partnership with Treat Accessibly to support their grassroots movement Accessible Trick or Treating to help drive household awareness for accessibility at Halloween. RE/MAX Canada delivered 11,900 lawn signs to RE/MAX offices, and homeowners were encouraged to contact their local RE/MAX office to secure their free lawn sign.
Treataccessibly.com had 37,000 unique visitors to their site and 14,000 people visited the “how to get a free lawn sign” page, which directed them to their local RE/MAX office. Additional signs were available to agents and offices to order through the portal at no additional cost, excluding shipping, and over 2,900 lawn signs were ordered.

HALLOWEEN VILLAGES
RE/MAX offices and agents across the country joined the Treat Accessibly movement by creating Accessible Trick or Treating locations within their own neighbourhoods as well as posting on their social media channels using the hashtag #TreatAccessibly.
RE/MAX Niagara, RE/MAX Escarpment Realty Inc., and RE/MAX Real Estate Centre Inc. hosted Hamilton’s first Treat Accessibly Halloween Village with over 700 trick or treaters and parents attending. CHCH News covered the event, click here to watch the video.
Testimonial from RE/MAX Real Estate Centre:
“This fall, RE/MAX Real Estate Centre participated in the Treat Accessibly Halloween Village in Hamilton, Ontario. This was one of the most humbling events that our brokerage could have participated in. Seeing the smiling faces, appreciation and excitement from the children, and their families was the best part of the overall experience.
Aside from the PR opportunity with multiple media outlets present at the event, the agents themselves were very appreciative and all expressed interest in participating again next year. We had 3 ‘shifts’ of approx. 25 agents participate, including those that helped us set up prior to the beginning of the event. We distributed RE/MAX Treat Accessibly lawn signs, alongside RE/MAX branded goody bags filled with chocolates and RE/MAX colouring books. We dressed up our booth with a RE/MAX tent, RE/MAX tablecloth and some red, white and blue pumpkins!
I would highly recommend that all RE/MAX brokerages take advantage of participating in this event within their communities as there is no other brand/brokerage that has this opportunity to give back to their community like RE/MAX does.”
